Amy Elworthy, Senior Associate Coach
Professional Certified Coach (PCC),
BA (Hons), PG Cert (Coaching), MNCP, MCIPD
Having spent many years as an HR Professional, developing and engaging people during my time working in Management Consultancies and Banks, I am now a Senior Associate Executive Coach with MRA, as well as partnering Matthew using his portfolio of licensed products. I have over 20 years, multi sector experience working with Executives, Senior Leadership Teams and high potential talent in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development and talent management.
My mission is to inspire, develop and advance talented leaders to enable them to achieve their potential, have the most successful career possible and at the same time to take care of their whole self.
I am deeply committed to supporting women to reach more senior positions and this passion has led me to specialise in developing female talent and delivering unique women in leadership programmes. I support female leaders to be at their best and thrive, whatever the stage in their life. My coaching includes a focus on wellbeing and resilience as well as performance.
Through my coaching I aim to help organisations create robust succession pipelines, more diverse and authentic leadership teams and female role models for the future. Through my work organisations have increased the retention, number of promotions and wellbeing of their female talent.
I also have a track record of helping individuals to achieve promotion and successfully transition to the next level and have supported many leaders (male and female) to reach Managing Director, Board and “Head of” level.
My coaching approach uses a blend of positive psychology, strength based coaching, emotional intelligence and neuroscience.
I work with clients to help them deepen self-awareness, discover new insights and develop their emotional intelligence. I aim to create a unique, empowered relationship for positive change, growth and action resulting in real business benefits. With a highly supportive style coupled with high challenge, I explore client’s preconceptions and break down limiting beliefs to enable change. The results deliver sustainable value to the individual and the organisation.
I am fully committed and connected to delivering our brand values:
I have a post graduate, Level 7 ILM qualification in Business Coaching which is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am an ICF credentialed coach, and have been awarded Professional Certified Coach (PCC) status. I am a qualified MBTI and EQi-2.0/360 practitioner, a mental health first aider and am CIPD qualified.
My experience includes working in large corporate environments including top management consultancies, retail and banking as well as in media businesses. I have worked with companies such as Accenture, Ernst and Young, Royal Bank of Scotland, Halfords, Oxford SM, The National Trust, The Red Brick Road and charities such as The Brilliant Club and Meningitis Now. I am currently working with a “top 4” management consultancy to deliver a Women in Leadership Programme for their senior female leaders which aims to support the goal of more female talent being promoted to Managing Director.
