Session Details

Heightened self and personal resilience awareness

Coaching Session 1 (2.5 hours) is designed to set the scene for your experience. Through a robust adult/adult conversation with your Executive Coach you will design your own ‘resilience success measures’ (goals) which will become the focus of your coaching, alongside the self-awareness experiences prepared for you. Your Executive Coach will take you through a full contracting conversation to ensure there is a shared clarity on expectations and learning/coaching preferences. You will complete your first ‘Wheel of Resilience’ diagnostic tool which aims to raise your self-awareness and resilience-awareness. We will share with you the results of your psychological ‘stress’ profiling and explore the impact your preferences have on your innate confidence, anxiety and stress levels. Coaching Session 1 begins the journey of the whole-person view of your innate strength and stamina, building on your knowledge in support of you maximising your potential.

Physical wellness (personalised Dietitian review)

Coaching Session 2 (2 hours) will be spent with our expert Dietitian who will provide a comprehensive review of your body composition, your nutrient intake, the relationship between your gut health and your brain (gut-brain axis) and suggest the dietary changes that are necessary for you to improve your physical and mental health. The role of nutrition in mental wellness is critical; your energy, mood and brain function can all be affected when your diet is lacking in nutrient rich foods. Certain vitamins, minerals, essential fats and the health of your gut bacteria can all affect how well you manage stress and how happy you feel overall.

Your Dietitian will take you through the ‘Wheel of Resilience’ diagnostic tool as well as providing you with a detailed report of your nutritional health. With this, you will be armed with a rich and in-depth knowledge on how you can start to better attend to your physical and mental wellness, in order to strengthen your mind and body.

Mental wellness (30-day Mindfulness challenge)

Coaching Session 3 (2 hours) is focused on exploring and learning how best to create new thinking habits and how to ‘re-wire’ your brain to create a more ‘mindful mind’, resulting in greater attention, focus and clarity. This session will be a combination of knowledge sharing and coaching with your Executive Coach. Depending on your requirements you will explore some of the following areas.

  • Neuroscience of stress – cortisol / adrenaline
  • Maladaptive Stress Response, biopsychosocial model – how this links to Nutrition session and the gut-brain axis
  • Locus of control theory
  • How your emotional needs are being met

You will be asked to complete a 30-day Mindfulness Challenge; there is a large body of research demonstrating the benefits of this. Daniel Goleman, a thought leader on mindfulness talks about “paying attention to your attention”. Learning to stabilise your attention through the practice of mindfulness can bring more clarity, focus, depth, detail and concentration.

Thriving, and the power of positive psychology

Coaching Session 4 (2 hours) brings to life a positive psychology experience where you will explore the learnings from your past and how to bring them into your better future. You will review your Mindfulness Challenge and explore how you can continue to embed this into your life, creating a habit for life long mental wellbeing. Your Executive Coach will also take you through some coaching models to help bring to life the theory behind growth mindset and how to set intrinsic meaningful goals. By setting intrinsic goals you are more likely to persist in achieving them, and the result of this is a life based on ‘thriving’. You will have an opportunity to create your absolute peak experience and through visualisation we will help you understand how you can make that a reality. At the end of this session you will have a fantastic tool box to dig deep into when needed, serving your long-term overall wellness, confidence and resilience.

Meaningful relationships

Coaching Session 5 (2 hours) will provide you with the opportunity to explore your personal and professional support network, and you will clearly identify the necessary relationships you need to thrive in the months ahead. You will be guided through the theory of Transactional Analysis, which looks at how we operate in different relationships and where this can help or hinder you. By understanding who to openly share your vulnerability with, who gives you energy and who drains you of it, you will build a stakeholder map of more meaningful relationships, which are a vital principle for staying resilient.

‘Whole self’ resilience review and sustainability plan

Having completed your own analysis of your Executive Resilience Coaching experience and written a summary testimonial to support your journey, Coaching Session 6 will be led by you. You will have the space to maximise the time you have left with your Executive Coach by focusing on the current biggest challenges to your resilience, ensuring you leave this journey feeling stronger and more confident, whilst never compromising your overall health.

Before you formally close your coaching relationship, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your journey, where you have come from, where you are now, and to measure your growth in the five principles of the programme: self-awareness, physical wellness, mental wellness, thriving, meaningful relationships and ultimately your resilience, mental toughness, confidence and perseverance.

FAQs

Your Senior and Executive level leaders and teams.
‘Resilience Success measures’ will be agreed at the start of the experience to enable you to measure the return on expectation during and at the end of the programme.
The Executive Resilience programme is unique to our other coaching programmes and provides a more personal look at all areas of your life. Therefore, we will agree with your sponsor / line manager at the start that they will not be required to be involved, unless you decide that it will benefit your professional working relationship together.
All programmes are bespoke as the ‘success measures’ are aligned to your goals, values and behaviours. Having the Executive Resilience Coaching Programme professionally branded for your organisation maybe achieved too.

Our Executive Coach pledge to you
