Kimberley Johnston, Associate Coach
J.D., PG Cert (Coaching), BA International Studies with a Cognate in French & Spanish
I have spent over 20-years working across sectors in the U.S. government, U.S. politics, the private practice legal sector in Washington D.C. and London - and before moving into coaching, I spent eleven years at Lloyds Banking Group as a lawyer, the chief-of-staff to the General Counsel for the Commercial Bank, in learning & development and finally spent three years focusing on Inclusion & Diversity. I was first introduced to coaching five years ago and when I had finished my first day of training, I knew I had found my forever career.
The reason coaching was the perfect career for me is because I am passionate about helping people achieve their full potential and have seen how coaching can create fundamental shifts in people and culture change in organisations. Having worked in and with people in high pressure, high stakes environments, I understand how time-poor my clients are and the pressures they face and bring to their coaching sessions. My expertise lies in helping people get un-stuck and recognise their blind spots while challenging themselves to step out of their comfort zone and achieve their full potential. I love to help clients re-connect with their values and find their purpose to help them set themselves on a track for success.
In addition to a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Juris Doctor degree and having qualified as both a U.K. solicitor and a New York barred attorney, I have an ILM 7 and a Masters-Level Certification in Executive Coaching and Mentoring and I am an EMCC Global Senior Practitioner, a qualified Mental Health First Aider and an MBTI and EQi-2.0/360 qualified practitioner. I have worked with clients from a broad range of sectors including Financial Services, Fashion, Law, Education and Technology.
I have developed and delivered programmes with organisations to support women in leadership, to help people find time and space for personal development and am passionate about give people space to focus on personal development get unstuck.
I believe in, and am fully committed to delivering our MRA brand values:
