Kimberley Johnston, Senior Associate Coach
PG Cert (Coaching); EMCC Global Senior Practitioner
I am a reformed lawyer who spent over twenty years working across industries in the U.S. government, U.S. politics, and in private practice in Washington D.C. and London. Before moving into coaching, I spent eleven years as a lawyer at Lloyds Banking Group, working as, inter alia, the chief-of-staff to the General Counsel for the Commercial Bank, in Learning & Development and in Inclusion & Diversity. My life shifted when I was introduced to coaching over five years ago, and when I had finished my first day of training, I knew I had found my forever career.
Having worked in high pressure, high stakes environments, I can empathise with the pressures my clients are facing into. I fully believe in coaching as an effective intervention and have seen how it can create both fundamental shifts in people and culture change in organisations. The expertise I have developed in my practice centres around providing clients with high support and high challenge; ultimately helping people develop higher self-actualisation, identify their blind spots (and what to do about them), realise their full potential and move forward in their careers.
I love to help clients re-connect with their values, find their purpose, and become the best leader they can be. I also recognize that each client has their own individual circumstances and strengths. I enjoy delving into a client's unique situation and helping them develop an approach that works for them in their personal and professional environment.
